Bodies and Souls: The Century Project, photography by Frank Cordelle (Heureka Productions, 2006) A nude photographic journey of women’s bodies from birth to 94. Not just about breasts but a celebration of the true beauty of every woman, no matter her shape or size.
The Breast Book, A Curious and Intimate History, Lithe Sebesta (Workman Publishing Co., 2002) A fun, witty look at women’s breasts throughout history, it includes over 600 illustrations and photographs, with an emphasis on how breasts have been portrayed in politics, art and religion. Amusing breast trivia is scattered throughout this tiny (4x6) gift book.
Woman: An Intimate Geography, Natalie Angier (First Anchor Books, 1999) A beautifully written and informative book, this Pulitzer Prize winning author does justice to the evolution of the female form. Her chapter on the story of the breast is entitled “Circular Reasonings".
Breasts: Our Most Public Private Parts, Meema Spadola (Wildcat Canyon Press, 1998) Based on the author’s video documentary, this book features women's personal stories about their breasts (see below).

Breasts: The Women’s Perspective on an American Obsession, Carolyn Lattteier (Hayworth Press, 1998) Author interviews both men and women, whether obsessed or not. Includes a review of the many evolutionary theories on why women have breasts.
Breasts: Women Speak About Their Breasts and Lives, Daphna Ayalah and Issac Weinstock (Summit Books, 1979) Book of black-and-white photos of breasts, and interviews with women pictured. Published in 1979, this photographic catalog is still relevant today, especially how women look at their own boobs.
